Library

Our St. Teresa of Calcutta School Library strives to provide all the students and staff with resources and services that enrich each individual’s educational, spiritual, social and emotional growth. It is the goal of our school library to make the library an open and inviting environment that inspires the love of literature. Students are encouraged to become independent and confident seekers of knowledge through inquiry and self-motivated learning. Students are encouraged to become skillful and discriminate users of the wide variety or resources the library offers.

Great news…….we will be having a Scholastic Book Fair from September 20, 2018 to September 26, 2018!

The book fair will officially open the morning of September 20 and will be open that evening for our St. Teresa of Calcutta BBQ and OPEN HOUSE!

The theme for this book fair is “Enchanted Forest” and there are lots of new books and posters etc. to choose from.

Last year we had two successful book fairs and because of your support we were able to buy so many cool things for our Library Learning Commons such as Maker Space materials, furniture, technology and of course, more books!

Once again, any family that purchases books from the book fair, during the evening of the OPEN HOUSE will receive a ballot to be put in a draw for you to win $50 in books - $25 for your family PLUS $25 for your child’s classroom.

Scholastic Book Fairs motivate and inspire our students to read, and with your support we can continue to add quality books and resources to our school library learning commons!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Puccini
