Writing a paper? Doing research? Need help finding a reliable resource to use in class?
Research databases contain articles (and graphics) from encyclopedias, dictionaries, newspapers, and magazines. Primary and secondary sources are available from select databases. These databases serve as an excellent resource tool for research projects.

Opposing Viewpoints
Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center is a one-stop source for information on controversial social issues.
This database features viewpoint articles, topic overviews, full-text magazine and newspaper articles, primary source documents, statistics, images and podcasts, and links to Websites.
SIRS Knowledge Source
SIRS is a reference database containing articles selected weekly from domestic and international magazines and newspapers. Topics covered include business, the environment, family, global issues, health, human relations and science.
Gale Databases
Gale databases provide access to a wide range of full-text news and journal articles. Databases include Academic OneFile, CPIQ and many other information-rich resources.

Britannica School is an online encyclopedia hosted and designed by a leading brand in encyclopedias. Students and teachers can easily search, tag, save, and share a wide variety of content and information, as well as access Launch Packs Science.

This comprehensive database contains some of the most significant works and figures in literature from ancient times to the present day. Search by author, title, time period, characters, literary movements, and more.
