St. Edith Stein Catholic Elementary School is located in the north west area of the City of Mississauga. The student population, approximately 260 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8, come from a wide range of social and ethnic backgrounds reflecting the ever-increasing diversity of cultures found within Mississauga.

St. Edith Stein Catholic School is committed to a Catholic education as outlined in the Mission Statement of the Dufferin-Peel Catholic Disctrict School Board. St. Edith Stein Catholic School is a caring school and is located within a community environment that stresses tolerance and acceptance of others, commitment to our Catholic faith and high academic standards. We provide a learning environment where models of Gospel values and Catholic doctirnes, teachings and beliefs are an integral part of the daily life of our school. The school motto: "to have a friend, you must be a friend", was chosen to reflect the importance of sharing, caring, and compassion for one another as Jesus taught us. All activities at St. Edith Stein School - academic and pastoral work, extra-curricular and intra-curricular, prayer and worship, administration and management - help prepare our students for their lives as Catholics in the community.

Supervision available from 8:45 a.m.

Start time/ Entry: 9:00 a.m.

Morning recess: 10:25 - 10:40 a.m.

Lunch: 12:00-1:00p.m.

Afternoon Recess: 2:25-2:40 p.m.

Dismissal: 3:30 p.m.
