"Congratulations to William, Mina, Devam, Joseph, and all of our Ontario Scholars on their impressive accomplishments," said Dr. Marianne Mazzorato, Director of Education. "Reaching this high level of academic success requires a lot of hard work, focus, and determination from these students. Their achievements also show the important role of their teachers, parents, and guardians, who supported and motivated them as they prepared for their future education and careers."

To be an Ontario Scholar, students must achieve an average of 80% or higher on their top six Grade 12 courses. This year, 4,119 DPCDSB graduates earned this distinction.

"This year, we celebrate 6,789 DPCDSB graduates who have met the Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations and are prepared to begin their post-secondary journey," added Marianne Mazzorato. "We are very proud of every one of them and wish them success and God's abundant blessings as they step into the next phase of their lives."

A list of the top Ontario Scholars from each DPCDSB secondary school is noted below.

The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is one of the largest and most diverse school boards in Ontario. It serves over 71,000 students in 151 schools located throughout Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon and Orangeville. For more information about DPCDSB, visit dpcdsb.org.
