Multi-Year Strategic Plan (MYSP)

The 2023-2027 Multi-Year Strategic Plan’s five values are Believe, Excel, Respect, Thrive, and Trust. These five values guide the work of the annual Catholic Board Improvement Learning Cycle (CBILC) and, at local schools, the Catholic School Improvement Learning Cycle (CSILC).

DPCDSB Student Achievement Plan 2024-2025

Ontario's Better Schools and Student Outcomes Act of 2023 requires all publicly funded school boards to support the provincial government's key priorities for student achievement. These three priorities are: improving achievement in core academic skills, preparing students for future success, and supporting student engagement and well-being.

To increase accountability and transparency, the Ministry of Education requires all publicly funded school boards to post their Student Achievement Plan publicly.

DPCDSB's 2024-2025 Student Achievement Plan

In the fall of 2024, the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board created a Math Achievement Plan based on three Provincial priority actions and supported by strategies and resources with the goal of supporting student learning and achievement in math.

2023-2024 DPCDSB EQAO Summary

The Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) is an independent, arm's length agency of the provincial government that provides parents/guardians, teachers, and the public with reliable information about student achievement. The EQAO also makes recommendations for improvement which educators, parents, policy makers, and others in the education community use to improve learning and teaching. The EQAO assessments are based on the expectations outlined in The Ontario Elementary Curriculum and The Ontario Secondary Curriculum. These assessments provide quality information on the achievement of students and add to the classroom assessment information teachers gather about individual students during the school year.

For more information about the EQAO Assessments and Results and Administration Dates, visit the EQAO website. The EQAO assessment results should not be used to rank schools. Instead, the results should be used to improve teaching and learning. Ranking schools provides no information about why scores are higher or lower and can lead to simple and possibly misleading comparisons that ignore the particular circumstances affecting achievement in each school. Ranking also distracts from addressing the more important issues of how to improve learning for all students.

The following consolidated financial statements have been audited by independent external auditors appointed by the board. The accompanying Auditor's Report outlines their responsibilities, the scope of their examination and their opinion on the board's financial statements.
