​​The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board offers evening credit courses under the Ontario Secondary School curriculum guidelines. Parents and students should consult with their day school Guidance Counsellor regarding their course selections, prerequisite courses and diploma requirements. Course selections must be made in accordance with the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum guidelines. You can earn one credit each semester at night school.​ Diploma requirements are listed on the Ontario Ministry of Education website.​

Night School 2021-2022

Fall Night School will be from:

September 21, 2021 – December 16, 2021
Tuesday and Thursday evenings
6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
 

Delivery of Courses

Courses will be delivered virtually using the Google Classroom platform. Students must be in the province of Ontario while completing their night school course. If you are a non-DPCDSB student, you will be provided with the required login information prior to the start of classes.

MISSISSAUGA – St. Francis Xavier SS
BRAMPTON – Cardinal Leger

Fall Night School Important Dates
Early Warning – October 12, 2021
Mid – Term reporting – November 2
Mid Term report cards to be sent via DPCDSB student email only – November 4 -5, 2021
Last day to drop before full disclosure – November 16, 2021
Final Assessment – December 14, 2021
Last day of classes – December 16, 2021
Final report cards to be sent via DPCDSB student email only – January 4-5, 2022

Winter Night School will be from:
February 24 – May 31, 2022

Tuesday and Thursday evenings

6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

At this time the delivery of the Winter Night School courses is not yet known but will be updated once registration opens in January 2022. If courses continue to be delivered virtually, we will be using the Google Classroom platform.  If you are a non-DPCDSB student, you will be provided with the required login information prior to the start of classes.

​Textbooks:

Students must have their own textbooks. Textbook information will be provided to students on the first night of classes.  While it is expected that you will purchase a textbook, there is no obligation to purchase via the textbook distributor.  Canadian School Book Exchange is a company which will be available for students to purchase textbooks.
